A delegation from the Federal Geographic Information Center (FGIC), led by His Excellency Hamed Khamis Al Kaabi, Director General of FGIC, participated in the thirteenth session of the UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. The aim of the session was to discuss key topics such as the framework for integrated geospatial information and the future of the geospatial data environment. The session also focused on the contributions of regional committees to global plans for geospatial information, the global geodetic reference frame, and the importance of utilizing geospatial information to achieve sustainable development goals. Furthermore, the session included discussions on how to integrate geospatial information with statistical information and other aspects related to international spatial data
