The Federal Geographic Information Center participated in the 14th International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2023" in Kazan, the Federal Republic of Russia, which was held on May 18 & 19.
The delegation was headed by HE Eng. Hamed Al Kaabi, DG of FGIC, who showcased the UAE's experience in the field of geospatial information and it’s plans to develop the sector at a national level, during a panel discussion.
The forum was established for the first time in 2009 as an international platform for business interaction between the Russian Federation and the Islamic World.
in addition to discussing mechanisms for cooperation on joint projects, as well as strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
