A delegation from the Federal Geographic Information Center (FGIC), led by His Excellency Hamed Khamis Al Kaabi, Director General of FGIC, participated in the fourteenth session of the UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. The session aimed to discuss key topics such as the framework for integrated geospatial information and the contributions of regional committees to global geospatial plans. Additionally, His Excellency Hamed Al Kaabi led a panel discussion during the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the High-level Group on the Integrated Geospatial Information Framework. Presenters shared their countries' experiences utilizing the UN-IGIF across different domains to advance national priorities aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
